RECONCEIVING ENGAGEMENT WITH INTERNATIONAL LAW IN A POPULIST ERA
EXPLORING ISSUES ARISING FROM THE INTERSECTION OF INTERNATIONAL LAW AND POPULISM

RESEARCH
Project Information
This project seeks to address the fundamental problem of how to reconceive engagement by states with the international legal order, in the face of a sustained populist backlash. The project proposes to develop a new analytical framework to evaluate the origins, impact and evolution of populist scepticism towards the legal norms and architecture of the international community.
